David Attenborough has recently observed that the global population has trebled in his lifetime and points out that the planet is finite and this simply cannot go on.
Part of the problem is that the human has been endowed with far more reproductive potential than is required to maintain a stable population. What is to be done with all the surplus sexual energy - that is to say, most of it?
One way would be to harness our bisexuality. Freud found that all the patients he treated were basically bisexual and this has been confirmed by Kinsey and other sexologists. Very few people are at the extreme ends of the sexual spectrum, even though most have a bias toward the heterosexual end. A great deal could be done to reduce overpopulation by encouraging everybody to harness their bisexuality by engaging creatively and lovingly with others of their own gender. Where men are concerned this would also help greatly to reduce male aggression and macho posturing. Surely most of us would welcome this?

Why not just open up a JCPenny catalog and go to town on yourself?....that way nobody could catch the "drips" or worse, HIV...sounds like you have some questions about yourself and are looking for someone to make you feel that's okay....I am not that person...male+female only...it's the only way....

You would have to tell me what the JCPenny catalog is but it sounds as if it advocates masturbating. Homosexual sex or Lesbian sex, responsibly handled, can be as safe as any other. If bisexuality rings no bells for you that's fine but are you seriously saying your way is the only way for everyone? If you want male+female only, what is your suggestion for reducing population growth?

I have no wish to reduce the population...I myself have 5 amazing human beings that my wife and myself raise with love and respect...people are not dogs/cats that need to be fixed...though some should...yes its my way or none at all...I'll put it to you like this...have you seen the earth at night?...if you have then you most certainly have noticed huge areas on the planet which have no sign of life...which leads me to believe that the planet has plenty of room for all...the JCPenny catalog is a mail order book about 200+ pages with items from clothing to toys...and yes, as a younger person I'd sneak that catalog into the bathroom and "read"...the bra and panty section especially...

When I advocated harnessing our bisexuality I was not thinking of encouraging anal sex. That can happen with either gender and I would definitely not recommend it with either. Over population must be discussed in terms other than sex. It is not an issue of sex, it is an issue of education and personal wealth. The best way to reduce the human over population is to raise the level of education and personal wealth across the globe.
