Hi everybody. I'm 17 years old and I would like to join the FreNch Foreign Legion. Some time ago, something happened to me and it profoundly affected me. Now, I intend to join the FFL to restart my life somewhere else, and I think the Legion would be the perfect place for me. Yet, I heard that appliants for the Legion may fill their recruitment forms if they are 18 or over 18, and those who intend to join the Legion under 18 require parental consent. It happens that I'm under 18 as I already said, but I don't want my parents to know that I'm leaving to France to join the Legion, due to certain circumstances. What I ask is: Is there any way that I could join the Legion while I'm 17 without parental consent? I really need a quick answer, and I thank you for you time.
