High School Pitcher and catcher question. All in 1 weak. Should a catcher catch 7 innings Tuesday night, 7 innings Thursday night, 4 innings Friday night, then pitch 6 innings Saturday morning? Same catcher was catcher 28 innings weak before. His knees was and are killing him. Now his knees and arm both hurt. Is there a rule on this or should the player or parents speak up to coach.

Next question. Double Header. Should a pitcher pitch 7 innings then catch 7 innings next game? The team has plenty of both and easily won both games. I know in little league there is rules on this.

The coach is a friend of mind and I beleive he means no harm. This isn't about my boy. He plays short and rotates to pitcher.
