How are the plans to get the Churnet Valley Railway to Oakamoor and Alton going? I know theres plan to bring the railway to there. I hope they do as I am a train fanatic who lives in Alton and would love to see a steam engine go into my home town. Also, I know theres a train of thought that they want to link it all to Stoke to help relieve the Towers traffic although I think this is unlikely as the CVR is a heritage railway purely relying on steam.
