Well, they determined Eric Harris to be a psychopath. (And this determination took place only three months after the incident though it wasn't released for, like, five years) He basically needed to be committed. He was taking a medication at the time that could've heightened his lust for violence, but that's just it. He already wanted violence, the medicine just MIGHT have made it worse. I think it was Luvox that he was taking. I am OCD, but I've never actually acted or wanted to act on any violent thought I've had. I'm certainly not psychopathic.

Dylan Klebold was depressive and suicidal. In his journals he calls himself the god of sadness. I don't know. He wanted to die so he got what he wanted, but usually depressive suicidal people want to kill themselves not others. He did seem to blame his situation on others while at the same time hating himself. Maybe he felt everyone else was the reason he hated himself. I do not really understand how someone like this could go through with a plan like that.

If you look at Eric and Dylans personalities they are opposites. Eric was more angry and bitter towards society. He had alot of hatred for everything, and had little fear or sanctity for human life. He had a mental problem. And nobody noticed it because he was able to hide it for so long, until he snapped.

Dylan on the otherhand would take any friend he could get and I can sympathize with him more because I used to be mega shy too. Just belonging somewhere made me feel wanted, even if my friends were bad influences. I still confided in them for help because everyone else looked down on me, and viewed me as weak.

All eric had to do was make up some theory and suddenly it made perfect sense to dylan. Sortof like Charles manson was to his people. He put it in his mind that killing people and blowing up the school would be a way to stand up for themselves. Dylan probably already wanted to die but I guess eric figured you should make it a more memorable suicide by taking people you hate with you.

If I had known dylan I probably would have tried to talk to the guy. It seemed like there would have been more hope for him then eric.

Ok you obviously do not know what you're talking about but that's normal for the weaker people in society who fantasize about sick people - who do and did things they could never do.

Eric made it happen because Dylan was so brainwashed by his charm. His parents were even under his spell. The spell of a sociopath. So little girl understand that yes he was in his own way for that one day very god like. He decided who died along with Dylan then they shot themselves. The entire thing would have been like a dream I'm sure and having his buddy Dylan there made it easier to act out his fantasies and the other way around.

But make no mistake little girl - ERIC Harris was a sociopath/Psychopath/Anti-social Personality.
He didn't care about anyone or anything, but you love him and wish you could be with him don't you.... ahaha i laugh in your general direction.

I think Criminal Psychology is totally awesome and interesting, and I don't hate any mass/serial/spree killers I just enjoy learning about their minds and lives, sociology vrs. psychology - I don't have weird die hard crushes nor fall in love with the twisted men/women I just enjoy learning about them.

I'd say that Dylan could have been helped, but Eric couldn't have.
