Though the caste PALLAN got members ,who are descendants of Chera,Chola,Pandiyan..It's still in mind of most people that SC are uncivilized.But all of us need to know the history of
Devendra kullam(Pallan),who built most of the temples in Tamil Nadu.

According to Abbe J A Dubios and G.U.Pope. "some of the SC people were taken to Europe and are in the European independent kings's military. There they are looking after the horse army very well. Their bravery is not less than any body else." This book was written in the year 1806 by the French Missionary Abbe Dubios in french and later translated into English twice (once with the references from GU Pope the famous tamil scholor and missionary). According to US, UK and other European countries's government records / census records / ship passenger list, the ancestry of pallan in europe could not be traced beyond 16th century. They arrived in ships during 16th century. A study on their coat of arms reveals that they are one of the bravest race.

In my opinion, after the loss of rules in South India and also due to harrasment / humiliation suffered, the 16 or 17 th century or later day pallans of South India might have migrated (or taken) to Europe and elsewhere along with the European traders who visited South India at that time. From there they might have moved to North and South American continent and spread. But even now they are holding their race / family name.

As a part of historical plot only the race pallan was slowly inserted into SC category. The plot was enacted only to stop them from their resurgence. The plot started soon after they lost their rules. As a part of the plot only the " pallu " literatures were written during 17 and 18 centuries. Though the book described them as SC, it is to be noted that the book was written with the help of brahmins only, and mostly about them only.

It is noticeable that either none of today's SC qualities / character or none of the quality listed in the Manu script is not found with them in their entire life.

There is a copper plate inscription given by a telugu king who ruled Tamilnadu after defeating the pandyan (pallar)army in the kayathar battle around 1550 AD.The plate mentions in detail that THE TEMPLE IS BUILT AND MAINTAINED BY THE SIVAMADALAYAM WHITCH IS RUN BY THE SIX MAJOR DIVISIONS OF DEVENDRAKULA VELALAR SPREAD BETWEEN THE AREA BOUNDED IN THE NORTH BY THIRUPPATHY HILL (KNOWN IN THEIR TIMES AS VADAVENKATAM)AND IN THE OTHER THREE SIDES BY SEAS FROM THE CONTRIBUTION FROM THE YIELD GOT FROM THIER OWN AGGRICULTURE LANDS.EVEN TODAY PEOPLE ESPESIALLY PALLARS AROUND THE AREA OF THIRUCHENDUR DONATE THIER FIRST MEASURE OF PADDY (ONE MARAKKAL) TO THE LORD MURUGA.

We are not migrated friend. during 16 th and 17 th century nayaks do this they only hide our history from tamil land but now many scholars,researchrs proved our race is the first dravidan race we are the only kings in tamil nadu our old name is mallar this name is changed into pallar.

Not every pallar is a king.pallar means farmers and
the word mallar means "warrior(veeran)" not 'king'.
