I am trying to find someone knowledgeable about slugs. I am doing some research on a story I am writing. This question may sound unusual and I mean no disrespect when I ask it. My question is, would soy sauce have the same effect on a slug or snail that salt would?

I think it would because soy salt has A LOT of salt in it! Do a simple experiment--pour salt and soy sauce over two different slugs, and compare the results! (If you need a slug, look in your cabbage patch).
