When I was about 10 or 11 I got a tick in my head, a little past my hairline above my forehead. I had been playing in the yard earlier that day, rolling around in the leaves and such. I didn't know what it was and my Mom wasn't home when I found it so I panicked and just yanked it out and put it in the sink. When my mom got home she told me it was tick and that I wasn't suppose to yank it out. I never went to the doctor or had it looked at after that. I am now 23 years old and I was wondering if there could be some way that I was affected by it that I just don't know about. Please and Thank you for any information.

I think if you have had no ill effects in the last 12 years you can relax, i think if it was going to make you ill you would have know before now
