I had reentrant tachycardia and recently had a VERY successful ablation.
I'm happy to answer questions or allay fears....my experience was wonderful.

I know this was an old post but I am hoping you could shed some light on this for me!!! I am considering ablation and see the electrophysiologist this Monday. Could u please share your experience with me??? I have to admit I am more than a little nervous!!!!! Basically I am wondering about the details of the actual procedure like if it hurts, how long it took and any other details. I am also a sports nut so I'm wondering how long it takes to be able to workout etc after the procedure and what the incision areas look like. Lastly, I'd like to know how you are doing now and whether or not you are happy that you had the procedure. I do know a couple of friends of friends that had to go back for a second procedure because their svt returned. I cannot tell you how much I would appreciate any time you could give to me on this. I have been on the internet like crazy trying to find answers. I am not sure why I would choose to do something that has risks when they say that svt is not dangerous and basically I'm not sure it's a great idea to let anyone mess around with your heart unless it is absolutely necessary. Thanks again in advance.
