I have a two questions about Simplex history.

1. Did Simplex buy Automatic Tims Stamp Company of Boston in the eary 1900s or did Automatic time Stamp just make cases for Simplex Time Stamps? I have seen and own a couple of Simplex Time Stamps in round ATS cases.
2. When Simplex bought W H Bundy Time Recorder Co (Syracuse, NY) in 1916 did they also buy Monitor Time Recorder Co (Syracuse, NY)?
