I know that Bandstand included a dance competition because a relative from Shepparton Victoria, Michael McGurgan won a competition. I am unsure of the exact year but do know that it was between 1959 and 1964. I am just beginning the search for the footage and wonder if anyone out there remembers his name or can give me more information about the competitions.
