I recently purchased a 12 week old female Douge de Bordeaux and I was wondering about the odor. She has a very strong sour smell about her. I changed her food from Pedegree to Purina Puppy Chow but still has same odor. Just wondering if this is a trait with these dogs. We would love to keep her inside but if she smells this bad my wife may not allow it. I don't know if it's gas or breath just know it's bad! Any sugestions would be much appreciated we love her very much and she is a beautiful puppy.
