I was just watching an episode of "Antiques Roadshow" today, and there was a man on there with a few dozen old cans he found in a ghost mining town out west. One can with a very clear and well-preserved label was for canned tomatoes, and it said Keokuk, Iowa, on the bottom of the label. I can't find anything on this on the Internet. Does anyone out there any any info on this. It was a company that was in operation in the 1800's.

The Company Was The KEOKUK CANNING COMPANY Located At 700 JOHNSON STREET, It Was Known By Many As The Keokuk Pickle Works. Not Sure When The Company Folded, But The Old Building Was Destroyed By Fire Circa The Mid 1980s.
