I don't think so... when I married last August, I wasn't sure of my fathers formal 'title' but I was told it didn't matter. I can't see how it would be different for the groom. Also, people change jobs all the time, surely if someone's father has a career change/midlife crisis, it can't make the contract nul and void? And if someone has lied to their spouse, that is a relationship issue, not a legal one. Perhaps divorce/annulment could be claimed on basis of a mis-truth, I think you'd have a job convincing the court that the job of a father caused a relationship breakdown though...
