If an 8 yr old autistic child is in a calm down room and asks to go to the bathroom and has not been to the bathroom
for a significant amount of time. Is it ok to leave him/her there until there is an accident the child would walk to the bathroom calmly

I would chose to let he or she know that the rest room is there for a reason to use it for #1 or #2 an if they need to use it that they may reyz there hand if in a class or if in a group.
