I'm just curious what Howard does all day with his time, and
for that matter what he's been doing to keep himself occupied
while in the Trenton State Pshychiatric hospital for the last
60 years. Does he work, read books, play chess or checkers,
watch television, listen to radio? I imagine he's got to do
something other than just to stare at the walls. Does he
have any friends among the staff or patients, and did he
ever have any? He sure is a quiet fellow. I still say that
Howard Unruh is the best kept secret in America. As the first of the lone-gunmen mass murderers you'd think he'd be
known by everybody, but unless you're 70 years or older or
grew up in the northeastern United States, you probably never
heard of him. Why is their such a conspriacy of silence
around this man?
