I'm writing a paper on E.D. Morel and wondered about his nine months in Pentonville. Specifically I'm looking for information about visits allowed him. I don't have access to any diaries or letters of his during this time. How did people come to visit prisoners in Pentonville during World War I? Where did they meet? Was it always in the visiting boxes near the Gatehouse or were prisoners allow to meet in private areas?
