In 1958, I attended an Auburn Yankees baseball game, I met Joe Pepitone after the game w/ my uncle Joe "Lefty" Yura. I was 7 years old. I believe Joe hit a home run that day and wanted to know if anyone remembers or can document that game as it was probably the only HR he hit in the NYPL? I actually have a baseball that Joe gave me that night.
This was the only year he played for the Auburn Yankees (very brief stint).
