No, you don't get suck-in, you get pushed in. Suction in the tornado only take out the normal atmospheric pressure and the effect is that the air pressure around it rushes in to replace the void causing a wind that propels everything in it's path, that's why when you look at a tornado, you see things swirlind around it, there stuck in the wind rushing in.
