The taking of American citizens property and putting them in the camps was WRONG. However, while that is easy to say today, the situation of the nation during a time of war- especially the ruthlessneess of WWII- such actions are easy to understand if not condone. Look at today, we go out of our way to not 'profile' but that may be our downfall in the end. Yes, it was wrong, but you have to look in the context of the times. Reparations should have been made, conditions better, understanding sought. US citizens, no matter their heritage have rights, and those rights are sacred, especially in this nation. It was wrong, but understandable.

SIMPLE ----BECAUSE OF THE WAY PEOPLE LOOK OR WHERE THEY ARE BORN DOES IT GIVE THE MAJORITY IN THE usa THE RIGHT TO TAKE AWAY THEIR LIBERTY, & RIGHTS HELL NOOOOO
BUT THE USA SHOWED ITS TRUE COLORS OF RACISM. HOW MANY GERMANS WERE INTERNED. THEY COULD HAVE , IT WOULD BE HARDER THAN LOOK AT THEM BUT THEY COULD HAVE.
TOO OFTEN LIKE IN NAZI GERMANY THE POPULACE ARE LIKE SHEEP AND ARE LEAD TO SEND OTHERS OVER A CLIFF SO THEY ARE NOT FORCED OVER THE CLIFF.
THE PROBLEM IS SOME DAY THEY MAY NE NEXT!! VERY SAD MOMENT IN US HISTORY AND THE GOV'T ADMITTED IT WAS WRONG AND OF COURSE USED $$$$$$ TO MAKE IT ALL BETTER BY PAYING THE INTERMENT SURVIVBORS A LITTLE CASH............HMMM JUST LIKE WE PAID NATIVE AMERICANS...SAD
