Can anyone tell me when this judge is to be scheduled for re-election? He handed down a judgement to someone I know in Sept of 2009 after sitting on the case for two years. Original case was heard in July of 2006. He awarded ex-wife of respondent lawyer fees and settlement and late child support after the respondent had fought for 12 years to see his only two sons (who are now grown). He was ordered to pay over 100,00gs and or be confined for contempt. Well, needless to say there were no such funds and so he filed bankruptcy on all but child support and his father borrowed MORE money on his house to file an appeal. He was finally released from jail after 90 days and father was forced to sell property because he could not make payments and put up the bail money. Appeal court did not overturn decision so respondent assumed $50,000 would go to child support as he had filed bankruptcy on other judgement and he qualified for chapter 7 in fedral court. This was discharged in March 2009 and the case has since been closed. Ronald D. White pulled him back to court on december 17, 2009 and gave the bond money to the lawyer and exwife which he had filed bankruptcy on and it was discharged and threw respondent in jail and stated he didn't know anything about a bankruptcy and he did not care how long he stayed there. Attorney Steven Privette claims he did not know about bankruptcy and he is the one that contacted appelate lawyer to make sure it was put in the appeal. Plus he was notified by mail. I have the proof of all of this. Judge Ronald White put respondent in jail for contempt and ex-wife had been ordered by Judge White himself to allow visitation and respondent had to file a contempt order on her and Judge white has done NOTHING to find her in contempt. He just gave her the money to split with Steven Privette and said he didn't care what she did with it. What kind of judge throws a man in jail for not being able to pay full amt of child support and doesn't force mother to provide children for visitation. He has allowed purjury in his court room as well. Respondent was intitled by law to full abatement of child support for being denied his parental time. He was willing to go ahead and pay remaining back child support by borrowing money but JUDGE RON WHITE gave the child support money to the judgements for attorney fees and ex-wife, who also was in contempt for not bringing respondents belongings back which valued at approx. 40, 000 gs in machinist tools. Now something isn't right in Phelps county and Howell County where this case was heard. Yhis man was kept from his father who is on oxygen and in end stage COPD. Justice is very blind in a different way and very hard to attain in Howell County. I do not believe this Judge should be re-elected and I am going to do everything possible to get this story out. The basic public does not know that in their warm cozy homes judges are throwing innocent people in jail at tax payers expense. This tiny circuit judge tried to over rule a fedral court judge instead of doing his homework or just plain lying and the public needs to know..He is still in jail at this time even though a letter of advisary was written to the court on respondents behalf by his bankruptcy attorney, that they can not collect on a discharged bankruptcy debt. The state of Missouri has been thrown back hundreds of years because debtors prisons were abolished then. They just use the excuse of contempt of court that way the good old Missourian can pay forty dollars a day to keep him in jail when drug dealers walk the street daily and are allowed out. I would like to hear from anyone reading this. I am the respondent's wife and this so called judge took my husband from me and his family for all of the holidays last year and is doing it again this year and he has no right as one man to put someone in jail because they are poor. Times are hard and everyone is struggling. He was doing the best he could and now he can't even do that. People wake up. It is time to vote and not let these people do these kind of things to us...Thank you for reading this ..any input would be appreciated.
