Based on my observation on his paintings,he was.

Firstly,look at his art,'Mona Lisa',you would agree that he had this resemblance of that woman.And strangely,that woman put her right hand after her left-a position that is similar to the position of a Moslem woman prays in Islam.

Secondly,look at his another art,'The Last Supper',you would also agree that a woman that sits at Jesus' right resembles 'Mona Lisa',isn't she?

If yu disagree till this point,stop reading..

So we could say that he put himself in 'The Last Supper'.Why?

My answer?


1.He really loved Jesus,and wanted to meet him.But sadly,as a homosex,he knew that he will never be with Jesus in the Paradise.So,he could only make the the most for himself his portrait with Jesus.

2.The woman at the right side of the Jesus is Maria Magdalene,a famous woman that once stirred the controversy that she was one of the Apostles.

Leonardo Da Vinci is Maria Magdalene's heir.He weirdly had something to say about the last day before Jesus was being crucified.What is it?

We agree that Yudas Escariot betrayed Jesus by telling Pilates and the Jewish monks where Jesus would have been at that night.And somehow,it got into Maria's ears,and she whom being rejected by Jesus comploted of not telling that to Jesus himself.

And so,Jesus is crucified (though I did not really agree that the one whom being crucified was him).It was Judas whom had been on the cross,and through Jesus she realized that.

Soon after,the mass murder of pregnant women started.Thousands innocents were killed in order to "preserve" the Godness of Jesus.But at that time,Maria was not marry yet.She ran away from that place to somewhere near Italy,married,and raised her children there

For sure,telling that straightly to the crowd would got her killed,and thus because she was the only one to know the Judas' poor fate,she kept it,and secretly passed down that story to her descendants to be told.

And some four hundreds years later,Leonardo was born.He was born with the trust to convey that story to the world and spread the truth.

But then,he cannot directly point out that story as it will raise church's demise and anger.So he did it through the only way he mastered at-art.

And to further hide his intention of telling that Jesus was not the one whom being crucified,he worked under pastor,painting Christianic arts whilst at the same time spreading his words of Jesus.

He's not an atheist,nor a Christian,I think.He was someone whom had the same religion as Averroes,Avicenna and etc.. and that 'Last Supper' and 'Monalisa' were his biggest contribution.
