I am looking for information on Robert Jemison Ball, who by family accounts was a journalist and wit who worked for both Puck and Judge Magazines.

He was a civil war veteran who came to NYC in the late 1880's. We think.

Robert Jemison Ball is my Great Grand uncle.

If anyone knows of a site where I can find some of his wirtings, cartoons, or maybe even a bio, I would appreciate. No information is too small to report.
