KIWIINWA
I have a six month old female bengal. She is beautiful, but driving me absolutely crazy. I am well aware of the personality of the breed, I did my research, went to the cat shows and spoke to a number of breeders and owners and after a year of purchasing the magazines, and talking, I purchased a Sierra Gold Bengal.
I have taken her to the vet because she is extremely agressive towards my other cat, and I was advised to give her bach drops that I put under her tongue. This only ever so slightly changes her behaviour. She gets tunnel vision and nothing that is done will stop her from hunting down my other cat and attacking. My other cat is not afraid of her, just sick of her constantly fighting her.
She has now progressed to walking around the house and howling. This can go all day. I get that she does it if she can not find me, and if I call out she stops and settles down. But at 2am in the morning, to howl throughout the house constantly for hours, is driving the family out of its mind. She has a dirt box, I have tried putting her outside to see if she wants to go to the toilet in the garden, but no, she carries on howling outside, until she comes back in, and continues on.
Nayla is beautiful, and has a fantastic personality, so it is out of the question to rehome her, I want to find a solution so we can all live in harmony together, please help me as she is driving me out of my mind, and I don't want to end up resenting ever getting her.
