The book "Married to Islam" gives me a whole new understanding about Islam and marriage.
The Islamic wife, of whom this book is her story, asserts:
--Mohammed (s) was actually progressive regarding women.
--The Marriage Contract can save wives much trouble should the marriage falter. (She tells how this works)
--Except in a case where a husband actually catches his wife committing adultery the Koran never says a husband is correct to strike his wife.
--and much more.
If this book is accurate, Islam has really gotten off course in many countries around the world.
