Some ignorant Hindus sometimes claim that Qur'an is copied from Vedas, their own sacred religious books. But this is baseless. see below to understand how:
1.in order for Qur'an to copy Hindu books, there must be Hindu scriptures in Arabic version. Vedas were not known by Hindus themselves ( except some pundits and rishis). because, had they knew it, there would have been no idolatry, as there are ample number of vedic hymns which prohibit idol worship.. what they believed is in Ramayana, Mahabharata and some idolaters books. So veda is not known to Arabia, and no chance of Qur'ans copy from Veda. a pure logical concept.
and we know Muhammad cannot translate. it is said in this verse : "And thou was not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: in that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted." [Al-Qur’an 29:48]
2. according to critics Arabian people followed Sair-Ul-Okul. so only book that was accessible to Arabs containing hindu reference is Sair-Ul-Okul, which promote shiva idol worship ( i don't have proof, i have admitted their accusation to be valid for the sake of arguments). but we know from this Hadith :
Saheeh Bukhari
Volume 3, Book 43, Number 658:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Masud:
The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Kaaba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished."
. so there is no chance Qur'an is copied from sair ul okul. critics tells about only Vedas, but i also extend to cover the scope of sair ul okul to show they are invalid.
3. check these verses from Qur'an:
"Say: If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support." [Holy Qur'an 17:88]
"Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah they would surely have found therein many contradictions." [Holy Qur'an 4:82]
now see this prophecy:
The Roman Empire has been defeated In a land close by; but they (even) after (this) defeat of theirs will soon be victorious Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision in the Past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice [Holy Qur'an 30:2-4]
obviously Vedas have nothing to do with Romans and this prediction, that Romans would win, wasnot even made by best war analysts of that time. As Allah knows what is going to happen in future, he declared this prophecy in His book. This is another proof Quran is from Allah, not copied from anything else.
so if there is any matching between vedas and quran, it is purely coincidence. they cannot help it.
........................................................................................
"...Allah's promise is the truth and whose word can be truer than Allah's?" [Holy Qur'an 4:122]
"We have without doubt sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it( Quran) (from corruption)." [Holy Qur'an 15:9]
