My name is Marc Castaneda. I just found out today that my father--staff sergeant, Benjamin Beltran Castaneda--was one of the two men killed in the Brinks Hotel bombing.

Does anyone reading this posting remember my father or what happened to him on this day? All my life I believed that my father was killed my a land mine. Today I was shocked to learn that everything I believed to be true was a distortion of the truth.

So if anyone reading this bulletin board can enlighten me, I would appreciate it beyond description.
