My parents have just visited Hereford Cathedral to view the Magna carta and Mappa mundi. Apparently the Mappa mundi has a number of cathedrals in England marked along with Glastonbury Tor and Clee Hill. Can anyone tell me the importance of Clee Hill during this period and why it would be marked when so many other places of interest during this period were not considered important enough to place on the map?
