Narrowboat Hire - breaking the mould

I appreciate that narrowboating tends to be the persuit of traditionalists, but could there be room for a less conventional approach?
I have been browsing the hire fleets but can't find a narrowboat with:-
1. All weather protection (for tiller)
2. Wide double beds (6 ft)
3. Tiller (or helm) adjacent to saloon (for company)
4. Opening roof to cabins/saloon (for ventilation)
These unique (?) features might broaden the appeal of narrowboats. Discuss.
