Time travel
Of course time travel is posible.

time travel is a daily occurance now on planet earth. oh you dont think so do you right then let me explain.
lets say that you are conscientious and own a toyota prius and you set your scientific clocks that counts time down to billionths of a second to a synchronised start and the prius sets off on a remarkablejourney around europe 50 times inclcluding my home the uk which means chewing gum stained lounges and the faint wiff of vomit on the ferries or the incompetance of the euro tunnel 100 times... dont forget were going there and back.
so the voyage over, the 2 clocks are compared and shock horror there is a difference in the way that each clock has experienced time. this is because one has been stationary in relation to the earth, though everything is in perpetual motion, while the other has been in motion and so falls pray to einsteins theory of relativaty.
the difference proved that the driver has travelled not just in space but also in time by maybe a millionth of a second. the more speed you get the greater the distance in both space and time thus the air-force regularly have to re-set their watch.
and when they dont in a secret air base, the existance may be known but not the location you get led astray. your sat nav systemshave caused the creation of some of the most boring jobs in the world. they press a button to re-synchronise the clocks of earth and the satalites.of course the science behind it is quite exciting.
the earth travels at something like 20,000 miles a day and yet, the satelites do not. the difference becomes clear when you get sent to number 15 instead of4. dont blame the sat nav blame the us airforce. i dont know, if their not killing british soldiers theyre sending mrs chung the rong way down a one way street in london.
this is all due to th theory of rellativity. when we look at 2 stars that are quite close to each other it is possible that one is exactly infront of the other this is because movement causes gravity especially if it rotates. this causes time to pass relative to the speed in which it travels and is not therefor a universal constant. this gravity bends light a nd time and thus mapping the night sky is based more upon maths than site.
so you see. time is as linea as a spiral drwn by a 3 year old and it already bends and changes with gravaty and speed.
then there is my theory that were we to go to war at light speed fire our weapons at light speed and return. a general could determin his losses befor the mission as they would have returned before they left and thus the success of the mission would be predetermind.paradoxically i think that if the theory of time travellers hijaking cern is true it is because they may not have considered the effects of being within the ring while particles are travelling around them at near the speed of light. they could become out of step with earth time.

Freevoice: Very interesting. It will take some time to respond to all the possibilities you presented. I do know that gravity bends light which means by light the distance is longer from point A to point B than it would be in a straight line due to the dip effect of light being bent.
What the ramifications of this difference would be a time related factor but I am unsure as to it's effect?????????

Wasn't Einstein's theory of relaltivity thrown out some time ago? My clocks and watches would not keep time with the US Naval atomic ones, so I wouldn't trust my travel in time. What use is it? We could only visit the past, as it's hard to write what the future will be until it's written and therefore past. Visiting the past could be as dangerous as our future bids to be.

No Einstein's theory of relativity is used by the scientific community to explain time, space and mass.
Even with all tha new discoveries that have taken place
quarks, black holes, dark matter and even string theory Einstein's theory of special and general relativity are still applicable and as of yet not disproven. What a genius'
