One of my eastern female box turtle that has laid 4 eggs. Unfortunetly she has not been able to deliver the remaing eggs and it appears that her egg sack has been laid with the remaining eggs inside. She "appears" to be doing ok but she is dragging around an attached, hot dog looking sack about 4" long with the eggs inside. I live in rural area and all hatchlings are free to walk through the chainlink fence to retrm to the woods.

Is there anything I can do for her?

I have hatched many turle eggs over the years, and this is the first time I have sen this?
