The Oslo Group was a coalition of countries who wished to remain neutral. Four of their members later joined the Allies: the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

When Finland joined the Allies and expelled the Germans in 1944, a series of conflicts known as the Lapland Wars ensued.
