Inspired by the original crooners, International recording artist Patrizio Buanne takes on the timeless art of delivering a romantic song. The tall, dark, handsome baritone is an enigma who idolizes the likes of Dean Martin, Paul Anka, Tom Jones. Join the young Italian for one night only at the Basie as he shares his contemporary yet timeless interpretation of Italian and American classics alongside some stunning new compositions from his latest album, Patrizio.

What separates Patrizio Buanne from other artists? His naturally graceful voice? His good looks? Or the respectful attention he pays to the audience? Whatever it is, he was practically born to be an International star. By age 17, the Naples native could speak five languages. He won every talent competition he participated in, sang for a Papal visit, and by 19 was a guest entertainer on Italian TV. His debut, The Italian, recorded at Abbey Road with the Royal Philharmonic, reached the English Top 10. His second release, Forever Begins Tonight, reached #53 in the US, including his first radio hit, “Angels” (“Un Angelo”). His CD and DVD sales have been certified Gold and Platinum in South Africa, New Zealand, Asia, Australia and most European countries. His new release, simply titled Patrizio, features more timeless tunes from the Italian songbook, plus new material and his own interpretations of contemporary of International and American standards.
