Since the republican party has been insisting on a flat tax system that everyone pays their fair share,from the lowest paid worker to highest paid worker. i think to counter that we should go after a flat tax on payroll taxes. eliminate the cap on salary , so every one pays their fair share of % from the lowest paid worker to highest paid worker.this will make ss and medicare solvent forever. with all the extra money this generate we might be able to lower the tax rates for everyone, this would put real money into the pockets of middleclass and low income workers.this might counter the effects of their so called fair tax and make them go shut up.
