I'd already uploaded a book on lulu but not completed the final steps and ISBN when lulu suddenly declined to honor its Published by You option. Must now be Pub. by Lulu. Does anyone know why this happened -- without explanation or actually revising the guidelines about this option? Will it make a large difference in the way the book will be regarded and so on if lulu, not my own publisher, takes over as "publisher" of record, so to speak? I must also deal now with "royalties" and taxes, for books old on lulu, at least, and I believe lulu will own all the publishing rights. What if someone made a move of one of my stories -- lulu perhaps, not myself, would receive the fee and negotiate the fee?
