Why are they called Purkinje images when the person who described them was the Czech scientist Jan E Purkyne (with an up-side down round hat over the e)? There is a crater on the Moon named Purkyne after him. If Purkyne can be correctly credited on the Moon shouldn't we start calling them Purkyne images down here on Earth?
