ColoTedo
Hello.
Moving to ASHLAND soon (probably March 2011).
I am very interested in joining (or creating) a group of
like-minded individuals who are excited by the prospect of writing & performing short skits (12-minutes or so) to be recorded and then uploaded to a podcast site, or perhaps, performed "live" in the park (or at a local cafe), etc.
The acronym AORTA came to life when I added the RTA (see subject line above) to the city initials: A.O.
"Ashland Oregon Radio Theater Amateurs"
So, to keep this opening post brief, I am looking to find some passionate performers (especially those who may be on the fringes re: access, experience, age, etc.) and then meet
(probably every week or 2) and write and perform these skits. (By the way, my sister and her husband have lived in Ashland for 10 years -- on Liberty Street.)
Thanks for JOINING THE DISCUSSION about "AORTA."
(The very HEART of ASHLAND's performance scene?)
