Just installed a SST-1200 system with the wired rain sensor. I noticed it had just rained, yet my sprinklers went off anyways. Is there an adjustment on the unit to adjust for how much rain before it trips the controller off?

I tried later to spray the sensor with water, but it didn't trip the controller either. Anyone have ideas how to test the unit or test that it is functioning correctly?
