I live in Ontario, Canada and have red squirrels which I have been feeding about 2 yrs. This year one squirrel is piling plant and tree debris on one side of my large feeder which has a 10" ledge on each side. I have removed this debris twice and he keeps replacing it. Is this normal? What is he doing - making a nest or camoflaging a food source. I know these guys are territorial so wonder what he is doing. Any thoughts on this? Thanks Dawn
