I grew up in Reno,and I remember riding my bike many miles to watch Butch hit home runs at Moana park!This Man was not only my HERO,but he coached me some while catching in Little leauge and Babe Ruth ball! I would sit on the fence and wait for those HR'S. I once saw him hit an hr batting right,and hit it oposite field over the right field fence,and landing on the roof of the Moana swimming pool!!! The right field fence is 339 ft,and the pool is a good 100 ft behind that,and a 2 story building to BOOT!!! I could swear that ball went 580 ft!!
