Hi My name is Debbie Rayiru (England) I have just read your discussion regarding Guru Kunchu Kurup.

Having researched my family tree and traced back to Eachorath Rayiru Kurup in Kerala born 1893, I found him to be a famous Stage Performer/Actor and wondered wether anyone could shed any light on this for me?

I'm looking for descendents of this man, and any details of his life before he came to England in 1926.

I would be very grateful for any information anyone may have regarding any of the names etc..

Hey Debbie,

I am also just working on my family tree and I have traced back to Eachorath Rayiru, who I believe was my great grandfather. My grandad is Kris (where I got my name from) and I know that a lot of his brothers went to live in Harrogate.
There is a chance that it is a different Eachorath Rayiru, but that would be a pretty big coincidence.

My mother was Janice Rayiru, born 1956 to Kris and Brenda.

So we may very well be related....
