The HOA I live in covenants and restrictions were written in 1987. In 1994 The US Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional to prohibit signs but what could be regulated were size and colors.

My question is: Does the ruling override HOA Covenants and Restrictions?

Anybody know the answer? Thanks
