Sk Mujib had a brief talk with Osmani in a seperate room. After a few minutes they came out and he confirmed us that indeed Yahya left Dhaka yesterday and the army is going to invade anytime now. Sk. Mujib said, 'Kaium Bhai Apnara Chola Jan' and we left the place in a rush!"

related to the event surfaced shows that Mujib knew about the army built-up and that if he moved outside his house he would be killed and US also knowing it well didn't want Mujib to get killed and the embassy advised him to stay home and surrender to the Pakistan army. True, it saved Mujib and his family (Surprisingly Mujib's family Hasina included, received monthly allowance of 1500 rupee) but not the ordinary people that Mujib latter claimed his surrender helped the too much killing he anticipated. In this it is clear Mujib was not sincere to the nation.
