Naturally Christian socialism is not the kind there was in the former USSR. This new socialism is inevitable. When the the situation is critical they always distribute free blankets and food. The situation on the globe will be more critical and the only way out would be to accept the idea of more redistribution. In my opinion the approach of Christian socialism is objective. And of course the moral advantage is indisputable. They say there is a kind of such society in modern Sweden. May be there would be other forms. The stumbling block is that the USSR socialism was associated with dictatorship and many people especially in USA have aversion to the name but many of them would not be against social responsibility which when logically followed can bring about the same result. In my opinion the Christian socialism ideas will gain power little by little following their natural course. It is much more economical and effective to have a computerized production planning than free market production.
