If one talks about a subject with someone (rather than to someone), both parties need to be on the same wavelength to understand each other.

Yet, so many talk or even discuss "Thai Food" without mentioning any definition of Thai Food or a Thai Food Item.

What is Thai and what is not?!

Same can be applied to Thai Cuisine (Thai cooking style)!

Would like to hear comments from experts and non-experts.

I first provided the criteria for definition of
Thai Food and Cuisine at an academic conference last year.

In a few months's time I will put some info. on thaigastronomy.com as I am busy with a different book.

For instance, citations are needed.
For the particular Thai Food Dish + recipe.

I have info. going back to 110+ years (in Thai).

I have been doing research into Thai Food Evolution and Gastronomy...close to twenty years.
