Had to look up this nightmare from my childhood. Wasnt aware that the series came out on DVD in 2008 and am still debating if to buy. I remember it with absolute horror would watch on a sunday night age 7 and then have to go to bed straight after and i can tell you light nights made no difference it was shit your pants stuff. Still remember listening for the scratching from the loft hatch just outside my box room bedroom door. Ive got a memory like a sieve but this sick childrens programme still haunts me and im convinced it caused me permanent damage i still hate bloody loft hatches infact got rid of mine made a loft coversion so i dont have to imagine sodding owls in the loft. Was anyone else as traumatised as I was ? Nowadays they would call the social if your mam let you watch this!
