When the Nazis annexed Austria, they suppressed the order, while using much of its imagery in their own propaganda.

The order still exists and survives today in Vienna,the organization is alive and well, and you can actually see their website in English and you can actually join the organization and become a "friend of the Teutonic Knights"...hmmmm..trying to think of someway to write the address so it doesn't become a html tag. how about this....
