I am trying to name a sailboat and like the name Aolele, which is what the Samoans called Robert Louis Stevenson's wife, Fanny. I've seen it defined as "flying cloud," "little flying cloud" and even "something of beauty or delight." I'd like to know an accurate meaning and pronunciation. Based on my limited knowledge of Polynesian pronunciation, I think it would be A-O-Lay-Lay with a glottal stop between "O" and "Lay."
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
