Hi,
We are using veritas in cluster mode. We configured 2 file servers. One as main and one as standby. Both the file servers have the same IP address. veritas software will handle the switching between main and standby file servers. Veritas will expose one virtual IP which will be used by the clients to contact the file server.
Now both the fileservers are up. Client is able to use NFS using the main fileserver. Client has mounted 2 directories share and share1. Now if we swap main and backup file servers there is a problem. The files written to share directory by the client are getting written to share1.
Whether veritas server supports this??Is there any issue in configuration or veritas?
