Isn't Castaway the story of a rich woman and a poor ship crewman who are cast adrift from a yacht owned by the rich woman's...husband? Lover? Some guy?... On a deserted island, the rich woman's money is of no use, but the poor ship crewman's practical knowledge (fishing, cooking, building a shelter, etc) are invaluable. As I recall, he begins to lord it over her as she had over him in the past. Seemed like no one learned anything.
